Ask a Question
What is ACXO?

The African Council of Customer Experience Organizations (ACXO) is a continental Council that unites Africa's national CX professional bodies under one shared standard, one accreditation system and one voice. ACXO sets continental CX standards, accredits professional training and certification programmes, advocates for the profession, and advances the recognition of CX as a profession in its own right — without replacing any member's national mandate.

Who can become a member?

Membership is open to organisations (corporates, public institutions, academia and non-profits) and to individual CX professionals across every African nation. There are membership categories tailored to each.

What are the benefits of membership?

Members gain instant continental credibility, an equal governance vote, a ready-made accreditation pathway (Certificate → Diploma → Advanced → Specialist), continental standards and research, a dispute-resolution mechanism, advocacy at the African Union and internationally, and practical support to grow — while keeping full independence.

Is ACXO's certification recognised?

ACXO certification is mapped to a continental CX competency framework and globally benchmarked, making it a credible, portable credential across African markets. Certified professionals appear on a public register.

How does ACXO set standards?

Standards are developed through expert committees drawing on practitioners, academics and industry, with public consultation. The aim is a shared, credible benchmark that organisations across the continent can adopt and measure against.

How do I join or get in touch?

Use the contact form on this site or email info@acxo.org. Our membership team will confirm the right category for you and guide you through onboarding.
